Who is Jim Jones?
The infamous Jim Jones real name James Warren Jones was born in Crete, Indiana, on May 13th, 1931 and died on November 18th, 1978 by a self inflicted gun shot wound after committing a mass-murder suicide. During his childhood, he was a queer child that showed signs of being a serial killer where he slaughtered animals for fun. As he grew, his love for religion also grew. But, one would say he liked the negative side of religion where he enjoyed the profit and being able to control people. As he got older, he became an American cult leader. He formed his People’s Temple Church and he tricked all his members to give up their children and all material items such as their house and land. As he became more known, he moved his church to Guyana to hide from the public eye, he promised his followers Utopia if they followed him to Guyana.
